open hearts, open homes, open hands
|
Roz and Sookie Spector were the most generous people we have known- open hearts, open homes, open hands.
In their memories, we want to reach out to as many of our friends and families as possible, from every corner, to raise money to fight hunger and food insecurity during these difficult days and into the future. The Spector family has been a Chicago family for over 100 years. We can think of nothing dearer than to direct money to on-the-ground Chicago food programs. To that end, we ask that you contribute to the Rosalyn and Sherwin Spector Fund to Fight Food Insecurity in Chicago. |
Minimum donation $50
Your contribution will go into a donor advised fund, which will in turn distribute to qualified 501(c)3 programs at the initial donors’ discretion. Please let us know if you have programs close to your own heart we should know about. |
Fishes and Loaves is a Chicago ministry that provides hundreds of families on the West Side with groceries several times a month. It is one of our favorites, and our first recipient of donations from the fund in memory of Roz and Sherwin.
